What Verified Readers Actually Go Through: Inside Our Testing Process

When we say our readers are “verified,” what does that actually mean? In an industry where anyone can hang a shingle and call themselves psychic, verification is what separates genuine ability from wishful thinking. Here’s a transparent look at exactly what our readers go through before they’re allowed on the platform.

Phase 1: Application and Screening

Every reader begins with a detailed application covering their background, training, years of practice, areas of specialty, and approach to readings. We also ask for references from clients or mentors.

At this stage, we’re looking for experience, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to ethical practice. We’re not interested in dramatic claims or celebrity endorsements. We want practitioners with substance.

Approximately 60% of applicants are filtered out at this stage – either because they lack sufficient experience, their references don’t check out, or their approach raises ethical concerns.

Phase 2: Blind Reading Assessment

This is the core of our verification. Applicants conduct a series of blind readings with test sitters – individuals whose identities and backgrounds are completely unknown to the reader.

The reader receives nothing about the sitter except their first name. No photograph, no background, no area of concern. They must then provide a reading that includes specific, verifiable information about the sitter’s life, relationships, and situation.

Each reading is scored independently by two assessors on multiple criteria:

  • Specificity: How specific was the information? “You have relationship issues” scores low. “Your partner is considering a career change and you’re worried about financial stability” scores high.
  • Accuracy: How many of the specific statements were confirmed as accurate by the sitter?
  • Relevance: Was the information meaningful and useful, or just technically accurate but trivial?
  • Delivery: Was the reading communicated clearly, compassionately, and professionally?
  • Readers must achieve a combined score above our threshold across multiple blind readings. A single impressive reading isn’t enough – we need consistency.

Phase 3: Ethics and Professional Standards

Readers who pass the blind assessments undergo an ethics review. This covers:

  • Scope of practice: Do they stay within appropriate boundaries? (No medical diagnoses, no legal advice, no financial guarantees)
  • Client handling: How do they manage emotional situations, sceptical clients, or sessions where the reading isn’t flowing?
  • Fear and manipulation: Do they ever use fear-based language or create dependency?
  • Honesty: Are they willing to say “I don’t know” or “I’m not getting anything clear on that”?
  • We also evaluate their communication skills across all three formats (chat, phone, video) to ensure professional quality regardless of medium.

    Phase 4: Probationary Period

Readers who pass all assessments enter a three-month probationary period. During this time, they conduct readings on the platform under enhanced monitoring. Client feedback is reviewed closely, and any concerns are addressed immediately.

At the end of the probationary period, readers are either confirmed as verified members of the platform or, if quality hasn’t been maintained, they’re released.

    Ongoing Quality Assurance

Verification isn’t a one-time event. Our quality assurance is continuous:

  • Client ratings and reviews are monitored for patterns
  • Random quality checks are conducted periodically
  • Client complaints are investigated thoroughly
  • Readers who fall below our standards are placed on improvement plans or removed
  • The Numbers

    Out of every 100 applicants:

  • Approximately 40 pass initial screening
  • Approximately 15 pass blind reading assessments
  • Approximately 12 pass ethics and standards review
  • Approximately 10 complete the probationary period successfully
  • This means roughly 10% of applicants become verified readers. We’re comfortable with that selectivity because our clients’ trust depends on it.

    Why This Matters to You

When you book a reading on our platform, you’re not gambling on an unknown quantity. You’re choosing a reader who has demonstrated genuine psychic ability under controlled conditions, who maintains professional and ethical standards, and whose performance is monitored continuously.

That’s what “verified” means. Not a badge – a standard.
